We were thrilled with our accommodations at The Millennium Hotel. The high ceilings and the vintage décore made the hotel feel luxurious. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The view from our room was of George Square - gorgeous. The only drawbacks were…the hot water supply was not great. If you got up the same time of morning as everyone else, your shower wasn’t going to be warm. If you shower earlier in the evening before bed…you’ll have a hot shower. The other drawback was the beautiful windows are older and not very soundproof. I could hear the noise from the street and George Square at night, like the window was open (but it was shut). That was a minimal issue for us since we were so tired at the end of our day, it was no issue for us to fall asleep. Overall we were delighted with our stay. If we make it back to Scotland, we would definitely book rooms here, again.

The location was amazing, right next door to Queen Street station and Buchanan Street underground station. Everything central was within short walking distances (Merchant City, St Enoch centre, Buchanan Galleries, Central Station, etc). Upon arrival, we received a free upgrade to a better room with a view of George Square. Having been to Glasgow a number of times, I didn't think it was worth paying for, but it was nice to get this complimentary. The fridge in the room came in very handy, as did the robe and slippers. An ironing board and iron were also provided in the room (in some hotels you need to go to request from reception). The bed was very comfortable and there were extra pillows provided too.

I have been in contact only with receptionists which have been very proffesional, friendly, with smile on the face and in good mood. On my question about bus station to airport (which is btw just around the corner), gentleman explained all details very good, explained how to avoid rush hour and so on. Hotel is basically on the main square, building is not new but what I saw it is very well maintained. Telephones in rooms teleported me in early 2000s :) We used it to communicate between rooms, works like a charm. Rooms and bathroom are clean, beds are comfortable. If I go to Glasgow again, this will be my first choice.

Everything about this hotel was lovely , the staff , the welcome, the old charm of times gone by which I loved . I had a double room 212 overlooking George Square and the funfair with all the sparkly lights..the room was huge, very warm and well equipped, the bed was super comfy , great for watching telly after a hard day's shopping .. The bathroom also was from another time and spotless. I would recommend this hotel for its cosy bar , breakfast lounge with lots of choices both Cooked and Continental and an extremely attentive friendly waiter....I wouldn't hesitate to return when visiting Glasgow...

Room was great, large size with high ceilings and big windows (couldn’t open them though). Late check out was available at a charge of £10 per hour extra so this enabled us to spend a little more time in the room to get ready before leaving. Staff were very friendly. Lifts available for moving from floor to floor and the building felt very clean and well looked after. Bed was very comfortable and tea and coffee facilities available in room. Very convenient location in the centre of the city.
